Lauren Thomas Priest (she/her/hers) is an accomplished leader with more than twelve years of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropy sectors, including roles in strategic grant making, fund development, direct service, community outreach, and program management. She currently serves as a program officer at the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, where she leads strategies to reduce income and wealth disparities in metro Atlanta through the Foundation’s TogetherATL Income and Wealth portfolio.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Miami University of Ohio, and a Master of Nonprofit Management from Regis University. She has been awarded a Northeast Ohio Top 25 Under 35 Movers and Shakers Award from the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club, and a 30 Under 30 Nonprofit Leader Award from the Atlanta chapter of the Young Nonprofit Professional Network. She has recently been published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and interviewed on WABE’s A Closer Look with Rose Scott, WRFG’s Progressive News Hour, and WAOK with Maria Boynton. She has been named a 2023-2024 Hull Fellow by Philanthropy Southeast, and is proud to serve as a member of CollegeAIM’s Advisory Board and SEM Link’s Board of Directors.
