Courtney Quarterman

Courtney Quarterman was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biochemistry. She earned her Master’s of Education Degree in K-14 Mathematics from Concordia University – Portland.
Courtney has over 20 years of experience leading efforts to create equitable access in Computer Science and STEM Education. Courtney has led learning/implementation design and business development efforts for institutions such as the Boston Museum of Science and most recently AVID in partnership with Microsoft Philanthropies TEALS.
Courtney is the Founder of the Sister Circle Collaborative; an organization solely focused on connecting and empowering women of color who are committed to equity in Computer Science and STEM Education.
