Reyla Ponder is a recent honor graduate of Spelman College and Georgia Tech, earning
degrees in mathematics and civil engineering, respectively. During her undergraduate years,
she began her journey to inspire students in the world of STEM, which continues today as she
serves as a Program Assistant. With a strong academic foundation, she has a deep
understanding of STEM subjects and is committed to nurturing a passion for science,
technology, engineering, and mathematics in the next generation. In her role, Reyla assists in
developing innovative educational initiatives that engage young minds, aligning with the
organization’s mission to increase students’ awareness of STEM careers and foster diversity in
these fields. She hopes that her dedication, knowledge, and creative approach will continue to
have a meaningful impact on the future of STEM education.
